Description of course
ASIST is a 2 day comprehensive workshop for anyone who wants to learn how to recognise the signs of suicidal thoughts and how to intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. The course is designed to help all in communities to become more willing, ready and able to help people at risk of suicide.
Who is it for?
Any member of staff, members of other statutory and voluntary organisations and members of the public.
What will I learn?
- To be able to recognise invitations for help
- To reach out and offer support
- To be able to review the risk of suicide
- To be able to apply a suicide intervention model
- To link people with community resources

North Inch Community Campus, Perth
Must attend both days on 10th and 11th May 2018 / 09:30am - 16:30pm
